The F35 doesn’t necessarily has to be operated via systems in the US, only if you don’t buy the proprietary terminals to program its flight-Mission systems. Israel for example has bought the entire package including terminals and they are able to operate the jets without US involvements. EU countries however of course chose the cheap option without terminals.
The EU can (or rather, could) potentially make lots of things, the question is if there is sufficient political will to do it.
No doubt, the problem has never been with the quality but with the fact that a hostile American regime can refuse to send spare parts. Which is not as troubling with civil aviation but certainly when we’re talking about our own militaries.

Naja, ist halt die Frage, wie viel davon durch Demos kam und wieviel durch die damaligen Enthüllungen - wie du schon sagst mit Krah und co, ich glaube die Nachricht, dass die AfD geheime Treffen mit Neonazi Gruppierungen hatte, fiel ebenfalls in diese Zeit.
Ich fand die Stimmen aus der CDU im Wahlkampf sowie die Berichterstattung und das Framing der ÖRR auch katastrophal, denke aber, dass der enorme Endspurt der AfD auch zu einem großen Teil der beispiellosen Anschlagserie zuzuschreiben ist (die sich unsere Geheimdienste hoffentlich nochmal ganz genau anschauen).
Den letzten Punkt verstehe ich nicht ganz, die Demonstrationen waren damals doch medial sehr stark repräsentiert.

Und dein Vergleich hinkt ja eben, weil wir grade nicht darüber reden ein Regime zu stürzen, sondern dessen potenzielle Unterstützer davon zu überzeugen, es nicht mehr zu stützen.
Ich glaube nicht, dass solche Demonstrationen einen wirklichen Effekt auf die AfD-Wählerschaft haben. Zeigt sich doch auch grade in der Praxis, dass die Prozente völlig unbeeindruckt von den Massendemonstrationen weiter steigen. Davon unabhängig finde ich sie trotzdem, wie gesagt aus anderen Gründen, wichtig.
Ich glaube es ist wahrscheinlicher, dass die CDU dem Ganzen einen anderen Namen gibt, ein paar Details leicht verschärft (oder zu sehr verschärft und das dann von Karlsruhe einfangen lässt) und den Wählern dann verkauft, dass das Problem jetzt gelöst ist. Wie bei Habecks Heizhammer (lol) halt auch.

The way you are arguing you will end up in an impossible situation every time. The sooner you realize this, the better. Because yes, the Israeli government and the IDF are currently committing a genocide on the Palestinian people but at the same time, Hamas exists (in their own words) to kill every Jew in the Middle East.
Applying the “who started it” rhetoric is entirely useless because 1.) at this point it hardly matters anymore and 2.) it’s not as clear as you make it out to be, both in the modern history of the conflict but also going back to biblical times, which both sides are often evoking to legitimize their actions.
The only way forward is a two state solution and I think most rational people realize that. However this can only happen if Palestinians overcome and reject Hamas and if Israelis overcome and reject the Netanyahu regime.
And probably, if Americans overcome and reject their fascist leaders that are backing Israel to advance their own evangelical extremist beliefs.

Ich bezweifle, dass sich auch nur ein AfD-Wähler von demonstrierenden Großstädtern überzeugen lässt. Versteh mich nicht falsch, die Demonstrationen sind wichtig als Signal in die Politiklandschaft allgemein - aber damit wird man die AfD nicht prozentual schrumpfen können. Das ist doch ein völlig hilfloser Ansatz.
