Atheist. Religion is an explanation of the world that’s made the fuck up. I think people make shit up to explain reality because accepting uncertainty is difficult, but that doesn’t make it ok. The world around you exists, just like it is. There is no special place you get to go if you follow the right set of rules .

I just couldn’t disagree more. Finland doesn’t have to actually do anything different. Telling Trump how great he is in private can get him off your back entirely, because he’s a narcissist. All he cares about is whether or not someone likes him. There’s absolutely nothing about this meeting that “just confirms Finland won’t be a major obstacle to his plan and/or Finland will just go along with it.”

It’s no secret that Trump is easy to manipulate with flattery. Surprised every leader in the world isn’t doing this. You can hate the guy’s guts, but give him a smile and a compliment and you can bend him to your will
