Probably worth reading the article. There are consequences to saying “no” at the border.

The real impact is on small and medium sized businesses who can’t afford to run their own SOC.
So now they’re forced to hire MSPs and outsource ALL their IT.
Congratulations, Trump! You are getting other world powers to work together by being the more difficult one to work with!
*if you have an older Android phone.
Neither can Ukraine.
Bullies aren’t usually the best people to negotiate peace between a bully and a victim who is standing up to them.
Doesn’t even name the algorithm, and somehow spells LZMA wrong, despite just having written it out longhand.
Well, it’s PC Gamer.
[edit] I still can’t figure out if they’re referencing LZW encoding… the L and Z being the same Lempel and Ziv from LZMA, but with Welch having a different solution for the rest of the algorithm due to size constraints.
Yeah, but Nessie has been folklore for longer than such an animal could possibly have lived. I have great great great great grandparents from the area, and it was older than them. People have been faking photographs since the photograph was invented. Before that people painted pictures or did charcoal sketches.
My point was that the guy didn’t start anything; he just continued the tradition.
Likely, yes.
You can always write your own contributions!
They used a flash that was single-use. When the flash triggered, it burned out and the mechanism rotated. A cube has 4 sides.
That was always a very long distance relationship.
I’ve got pictures of both of them though :D
1991? I took a fake photo of Nessie in 1984, and I’m certain I wasn’t the first.
Afghanistan is Russia’s Afghanistan.
Ukraine is Russia’s Vietnam.
No one knows why. Xiaofeng Wang….
Nobody knows, but an educated guess says it has something to do with his name. Whether it’s xenophobia or legitimate concerns, the school and the government probably know.
Help them get to Canada?
If that’s not an option and they don’t already have claimant’s status, help them get somewhere off-grid.
If they’ve got claimant’s status already… the government is already keeping tabs on them and will likely hunt them down. Their best bet may be being sent to El Salvador where at least they won’t be tortured and killed (assuming that’s not where they’re from).
Realistically, what the article suggests to me is that I should carry a burner phone when crossing borders and if I need my real phone, turn on lockdown mode and then turn it off and stow it in my luggage with the understanding that it may get confiscated and never returned.
