I think that the rest of us all around the world need to watch ourselves instead of continuously pointing and laughing at the USA. The far right is doing pretty well in Europe, even in Germany. And I’m sure there’s there’s more than one house where you’ll find grandpa or great grandpa’s nazi uniform still in storage, seeing as that was still less than 100 years ago.

We’ve all got the racist uncle. That was something to also joke about in the USA not long ago until all the racist uncles got together and were joined by the racist parents and sons and daughters.

None of us is currently safe from the christian nationalist hatemongers taking over because the christian nationalist hatemongers walk among us in even bigger numbers than we previously thought.

Even if they don’t have registries, I’m sure they could’ve done better than a four-year suspended prison sentence. I’m sure they could’ve also achieved not allowing him to work with children ever again. Unless they also don’t have things like IDs and telephones and email. I suppose if smoke signals are their only means of communication, then it’s understandable how someone caught with CSAM was allowed to keep working with children in “prestigious” hospitals that willingly hired him.

IMO, the judge that sentenced this guy to a four-year suspended prison sentence needs to be investigated and publically disgraced too. Same with the hospitals that hired him.
