Earlier someone posted that the protests aren’t going to be noticed by or cause any inconvenience to the oligarchs.

It isn’t about them noticing the protests, and it isn’t about the media talking about it.

At this point it’s a movement that has to grow until everyone knows even if they keep trying to bury their heads in the sand. It needs to show the billionaire owned media that they are powerless to suppress the truth.

The movement needs to keep growing until it can’t be denied. It needs to keep growing until they know they can not win.

We have a choice. Either we sit back and go into the gas chambers one at a time, or we show them that they are too outnumbered to succeed.

There’s a lot of stupidity to point out with Trump, but I found myself focused on the pens.

It was my understanding, and perhaps I’ve gotten it wrong, that the reason there are a pile of pens there is so that the president can use all of them, using one for each letter in the name, one to cross the T, etc. Then give them out to a bunch of supporters so that they can each have a pen that was used to sign the law, executive order, or whatever other bullshit this moron puts his name on.

While I can’t imagine why anyone would want a pen this shithead put his tiny little hand on to sign something, I am really baffled as to why they would want a pen that happened to be in a box with a bunch of other pens, one of which was used to sign something.

Lazy fuck can’t even put the most basic effort into doing something for his most brain-dead, sycophantic followers.

I’d argue that the last two months have been the culmination of the last ~50 years of US fascism.

I think you can dislike pedophiles and even want to see them punished, yet still recognize that some asshole doing it to get revenue from their YouTube channel is not the right solution.

Personally, I’m of the opinion that most crime is the result of either poverty or neurological flaws, and torture is not the best solution to either problem.

People need to be kept safe, and the criminal justice system is ostensibly the mechanism we’ve decided to use for that.
