I make a point of never trusting internet information until I personally verify it. Particularly these maps, which are nearly always incorrect or misleading. The internet is full of worthless information. Mining for diamonds is the only means of finding anything even bordering on worthwhile in this garbage pit filled with AI, spam, and propagandists.

I’m still wondering why his purpose is in taking a cudgel to the US economy. Is he profiting off of short selling? Did vlad offer him an actual gold shitter if he did it? Does he just hate most of us? Is he looking to create a slave caste in the coming AI apotheosis? Is he just bluntly culling the herd?

I can’t think of a positive reason.

I am indescribably proud of my instance. No one has searched for that community yet, and I’m not going to force that revolting load into our server. Upsetting that it seems to be an active community, though.

Out of curiosity, has anyone found any more conservative Lemmy communities? I’m always worried that we’ll get folks splitting off of rumble to find purchase here. So far, all of the c/conservative communities have been deliciously consumed by memes, but more is more funni
